Bath Half Marathon

Joanna Walmsley was studying at bath university and had never run before, she set herself quite a challenge for her first run!

Joanna is a family friend and was at primary school with Gemma, one of our committee members, and has seen the challenges that she has faced through living with JIA. She wanted to support a charity where she knew that every penny would be used for the benefit of the people that the charity supports.

Due to the Snow the marathon was cancelled twice but not to be deterred Joanna finally ran her own half marathon, supported by two of her friends.
